An app measured you with Boosthis
The short version. Boosthis measures how fast and how reliably an application runs. It holds timings, errors and device characteristics against an identifier its own kit generated — no name, no email address, no payment details, nothing an advertiser could use.
If you control the installation, you can erase its measurements yourself, immediately, without asking us or anyone else. If you do not, the request belongs with the company whose application you used — and we will help them answer it.
Who we are, and why you are here
Boosthis is a measurement tool that developers install inside their own applications. If you have arrived here, an application you used has Boosthis in it. We have no relationship with you, you never chose us, and the company whose application you used decides what we measure and why.
In data-protection terms they are the controller and we are the processor. Practically, that means most of what you might want done has to be done by them — but not all of it, and this page says which is which.
What is held about you
Measurements, not identity. How long screens took to appear, which route or screen was involved, what errors and crashes occurred and what their signature was, and characteristics of the device and runtime — the operating system and its version, and where a fact only makes sense with it, the device maker.
An installation identifier. It is generated by the kit on the device or the server it runs on. It is not your account with that application, not your email address, not a device serial, and not an advertising identifier. It identifies an installation of the kit, not you.
What is NOT held: your name, your email address, your postal address, your phone number, your payment details, the contents of anything you typed, and any identifier that an advertiser could use. The kit has no field for these. What it may send at all is a fixed vocabulary it cannot add to, and our servers drop anything they do not recognise.
Because there is no name and no account in any of it, we usually cannot look you up. That is a property of the design, not an evasion — and it is the reason the routes below work the way they do.
How we check who you are, without asking for more about you
We will not ask you for a passport, an identity document or a selfie. Asking a stranger for identity documents in order to search records that contain no identity would collect far more about you than the request was ever about.
Instead, what proves a request is yours is CONTROL of the installation it is about. Your own copy of the application can produce its installation identifier and the erasure token that goes with it, and the erasure route below accepts exactly that pair and nothing else. It is a stronger proof than an email address, and it costs you nothing extra.
Where you cannot produce that — most commonly because the installation is on the developer's servers rather than your device — the request goes through the company whose application you used. They can identify you, because they have an account for you; we cannot, because we do not.
Erasing an installation's measurements, without asking anyone
An installation's measurements can be erased immediately and permanently, by anyone who controls that installation, with no account, no email and no decision from us or from the developer. In a Boosthis kit that is boosthis telemetry forget; the equivalent underneath it is a single request carrying the installation identifier and its erasure token.
It takes effect at once. It is not a request we consider — there is nothing to consider, because the token proves the claim.
Measurement can also be stopped rather than erased: disableTelemetry() stops the optional detail, and BOOSTHIS_DISABLED=1 stops everything. Whether you can reach either depends on whether the installation is yours to configure.
Asking what is held, objecting, or having it corrected
Start with the application's owner. They know who you are, they decide what is measured, and under the agreement we have with them we will help them answer you — including producing, correcting or erasing what is stored for a given installation. Their privacy policy will say how to reach them.
You can also write to us directly at support@boosthis.com. Here is exactly what happens to a message that reaches us, so you are not waiting on something that is not coming: we will tell you that we have received it, we will tell the company whose application you used that a request about their application has reached us, and we will help them answer it. We will not decide it for them. We answer within 30 days. There is no charge.
One thing you need to know before you use that address: as of 2026-09-21 it is not delivering — messages are rejected at the mail exchanger after the body is sent, so the sender receives a bounce and nothing arrives here. The fault is ours and it is being repaired; until it is, a message sent there will bounce rather than reach us. So do not wait on that address. The two routes that need no mailbox of ours are the company whose application you used — they can identify you and can act without us — and the erasure below, which you can do yourself and which takes effect at once.
The one thing we will do without them is the erasure above, because that one is proved rather than decided.
If you tell us you cannot identify the application — which happens, and is not your fault — say what you can and we will tell you honestly whether we can work it out. Often we cannot.
